The Mod 3 Boonie Hat is an updated version of the classic Boonie Hat, originally introduced by the U.S. military during the Vietnam War and later adopted by armed forces around the world in numerous conflicts. Although it was primarily designed for use in hot tropical climates, the Boonie Hat has proven effective in a wide variety of environments and is now considered one of the most popular military headwear designs.

The Mod 3 Boonie Hat is made from high-quality materials and features a 60% cotton and 40% polyester construction. This material blend provides an excellent balance of durability, comfort, and quick-drying performance. The hat incorporates several improvements over the original design. The brim has been slightly narrowed to reduce snagging on bushes and dense vegetation without compromising functionality. In addition, a dedicated fabric panel allows the attachment of branches, leaves, and other natural vegetation, enhancing camouflage performance and helping to break up the wearer's silhouette.
