WX Saint are lightweight ballistic semi-rimmed sunglasses developed by Wiley X for superb eye protection for sport shooting, military, and law enforcement agencies.
The lens is extruded, cut, and heat formed from a shatterproof Selenite™ polycarbonate. The glass is then layered in scratch-resistant and fog-proof hard coating for increased resistance to grazing and surface damage. It also guarantees 100% UVA and UVB protection with distortionless clarity. The set consists of two ballistic lenses - clear and smoke-tinted. They are used separately depending on the time of day and weather conditions.
Reinforced frame and temples are injection molded from Tryloid™ nylon and anatomically shaped for improved comfort during prolonged usage. The utilized material makes them lightweight and exceptionally durable. The additional rubber elements on the temple tips reduce fatigue and increase grip. Wide earpieces block out peripheral light and decrease the chances of solid objects going under sunglasses.
