Description

The enlarged magazine holder from Corvus Defensio helps to make magazine changes faster and more reliable. If you reach the limits when changing the magazine (stress due to competition or firefight, wetness, numb/cold fingers, darkness, etc.), the original magazine holder can lead to operating errors under certain circumstances. On the one hand, it can happen that the thumb slips sideways when pressing due to the outwardly curved shape. On the other hand, it can happen that you only catch the magazine holder on the outside and your thumb gets caught on the housing when you press it in, so that it cannot be pressed in far enough to release the magazine. With the original, the magazine is only released when it has already sunk into the housing. The design of Corvus Defensio reliably prevents the aforementioned situations and thus ensures a faster and more reliable magazine change.

Assembly:
Disassemble original magazine holder by opening and knocking out the screw (screw can still be used).
Place the original spring in the CorDef magazine holder and fix it with the mounting pin.
Place the CorDef magazine holder in the AUG housing and drive the mounting pin through with the original screw.
The screw can be wetted with a screw adhesive beforehand.
Do not tighten the screw completely, otherwise the magazine holder cannot be moved.
The magazine-side surface of the magazine holder can be treated with a silicone spray.

The magazine holder can be removed from the housing by opening the screw.
